I’m still working on my Dust of Snow wrap but happy to report I’ve managed to keep up with the advent box miniskeins from Suburban Stitcher, knitting each one of those into the project day by day. This pretty design from Helen Stewart of Curious Handmade uses 24 miniskeins held along with a strand of laceweight. I’m using an undyed mohair/silk in mine.

Super soft and fluffy, this one will be a warm snuggly wrap when it’s finished in a few days and I can’t wait to have it to wear on these cold mornings in winter right now!
I also worked a bit on the foot of Vapour Sock #1 (also a pattern from Helen Stewart). I’m just about ready to start the toe decreases on this one thanks to several hours watching The Matrix last night while working on it. No specific timeframe to get this finished but it won’t take long to get this one off the needles if I spend another evening on it I think. Yarn is Peepaloo Fields Sock in the color “Arden”.

One more Wednesday left in 2021. Hope everyone is having a good week so far. I’m looking forward to having a 4-day weekend coming up for the holidays this week and next!
That wrap looks incredibly cozy. The colors and halo are really dreamy.
Have a blessed holiday!
It is! I’m just enjoying having it on my lap while I work on it 🙂
Oh wow, that wrap looks absolutely stunning! And so snuggly. 🙂 Congrats on keeping up with the advent box! I’ve never managed to keep up with something like that (advent-style knitting or mystery knit-a-long clues) so I’m really impressed.
Thank you! It’s definitely going to be warm and soft and cozy. I have been enjoying every stitch on it but will admit I’m ready to switch up to more and different things here soon!
Well, that is a hazard of a long project like that. Here’s to knitting variety soon!
Your wrap is so soft and cozy. I have some of Helen’s sock I. My library and plan to knit a few in 2022.
