Quite a few on-the-go things I’m working on right now, or have recently finished up:
I finished up the Hoarfrost hat (Ravelry link) this week. I really like this pattern as it’s nice and basic, but knits up quickly with a fun texture. The yarn is Dragon Hoard Yarns DK in the colorway “Goblin Market”, and is a great unisex color. This one will go into the box for the Reuben Project’s cold-weather hat collection for this month.

I also started and finished a Bousta Beanie (Ravelry link) using 3 colors of Rowan Yarns Scottish Tweed 4-ply, a now sadly discontinued favorite in my deep stash. I chose a palette of fall colors but I honestly think you can’t really go wrong with any color grouping you might pick. This one is also slated for the Reuben Project box.

In other non-YOP things, I want to try to get back to the Stella Sweater preview knit I was working on last month. This was from the Hudson & West late fall 2021 collection and is a pretty v-neck pullover with some fun stitch details on it. I’m knitting it in Hudson & West worsted-weight Forge in the Dusk colorway. I have one sleeve finished and I’m working on the back.
Hoping to have some time over the Thanksgiving holiday to work on this one a bit!
Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving. That Dusk colour is beautiful!
Thank you! I’m a fan of that soft pink too! π
Love your Bousta hat – I have knit that pattern twice. Happy Thanksgiving
Hope you had a nice holiday. And yes! I really enjoyed the pattern.
The hats are a lot of fun! That sweater, though… I love the way it’s looking. It’s going to be so pretty when it’s done!
Thanks! I love that soft dusty pink color and can’t wait to wear it!
Such lovely projects Anne, love your hats π
Thank you so much!
