Not just a Work in Progress Wednesday, but more like a What I’m…… Wednesday. I’m in the midst of several larger knitting, spinning and reading projects, so I thought I’d do a mid-week summary, just to document.
Knitting:
About a third done the Frostwork Scarf. I’m trying to do a repeat or two a day and not get burned out/bored on it.

I’m just about through the first skein of the Woodsong Farm Finn/CVM yarn and about 6″ of the body is done. This is my mindless/after dinner knitting.

Spinning:
Still working on the singles of the Polwarth wool from Two If By Hand for the Tour de Fleece. Happy to report this is the last of 2 oz of singles to finish this 8 oz batch. Sad to report there will probably be no progress on this for a few days while we’re on holiday.

Reading:
I’m currently in the last 4 hours of the audiobook of Where the Crawdads Sing and likely to finish that up in the next several days. I’m also about a third of the way through Blood Like Magic (which I’ve got in print copy). Both of these are on my #20booksofsummer reading list, and are books 8 and 9, respectively. I’ve got The House in the Cerulean Sea on deck for my next print read but need to decide on an audiobook for the remainder of the month.
I’ll leave you with a quick panoramic of our amazing cloud-filled sky from the deck. We’ve had rain every afternoon but one for the past week which is a lovely and welcome change (although whew! CRAZY amounts of weeds right now!)
